Team

We're a team of volunteers who think LARP is just awesome.

There is no company with employees behind Tales&Legends — just a handful of people from Dresden and the surrounding area who give up their evenings and weekends for it. We are LARPers ourselves, and most of us started because somebody took us along; that is exactly what we pass on. Every role here is voluntary: nobody draws a salary, and any surplus goes back into events, free places and gear.

Nils, Managing Director at Tales&Legends

Represents the gUG, and handles contracts, bookkeeping, registrations and the website — everything that has to happen before an event is allowed to take place at all.

Maria, Costumes & Props at Tales&Legends
MariaCostumes & Props

Builds and maintains our stock: loan costume for beginners, NPC outfits and the small props a scene hangs on.

Benjamin, Game World & Plot at Tales&Legends
BenjaminGame World & Plot

Develops the Realms of Lorell, writes plot and makes sure every group at an event has something to do — including the ones not looking for a fight.

Jonas, Construction & Props at Tales&Legends
JonasConstruction & Props

Responsible for set pieces, camp build-up and technical kit. Turns wood, paint and improvisation into the places we play in — and takes them down again on Sunday.

Tobias, Youth Work at Tales&Legends
TobiasYouth Work

Plans our youth events, keeps in touch with youth centres and schools, and makes sure the staffing ratio and safeguarding concept are lived in practice.

Personal introductions and real photos will follow once everyone on the team is happy with that — until then this page lists roles and responsibilities.

How we work

We decide together, usually in one meeting a month and on Discord in between. Each role owns an area, but before and after an event everyone pitches in everywhere — carrying tents, painting set pieces, washing up. Anyone joining gets a task that fits the time they have, not the other way round.

Join in

We are always looking for people for set-up, catering, NPC play, costume and youth supervision. No LARP experience is required, and a few hours a month is enough to start.
